3 Smart Tips for Choosing The Right Peanut Butter.

(1) It is common for brands to carry more than one range of peanut butter. When choosing peanut butter, do not only look for a particular brand, it is imperative to read the food label carefully.

(2) Peanut butter that claim to be ‘Natural’ may not be any different from those that do not make a similar claim. There is no formal standardized definition for claiming ‘natural’ on peanut butter either. Cholesterol is found in animal based products and peanut butter being made from plant based ingredients such as peanuts are “Naturally cholesterol free”. Claims such as ‘Natural’ and ‘Cholesterol free’ on peanut butter food labels are thereby not reliable yardsticks when it comes to making an informed choice.
